Fists of Vengeance (FOV)

Fists of Vengeance was an honor-PK guild named for its founder's character. He ran it for a long time with Succubich, The Mad Beaver, Swifness and Kenedy, from a lifestone north of the Crater by a little vendor shack, and players broke away from other monarchs to join it: Brakk left Schattenkind for FOV with Junzo, A Bad Man and Black Mojo, before Samite ever arrived. Lotus X joined later. He bought Samite, a level 120 character, off eBay, and the guild tagged under Samite, a mule more than a fighter, by its founder's account. Others remembered pledging under Samite and running around Ayan Baqur defending the crypts next to the GSA vendor. When GEN broke up, a lot of its people came to FOV. Blood was beating them, so FOV's founder talked most of the anti clans into merging, and in October 2001 GEN, FOV and NWA became The Last Stand, with Fists of Vengeance and Nim among its co-leaders. They pushed Blood back and forth across the server, he said, until housing meant nobody had to fight for lifestones any more, and he quit a few months later. His favourite time was before that, when Blood and GEN were busy with each other and FOV raided the antis' levelling spots all day. Killer Whale and Lotus, who had been the core of FOV under Samite, later went off to found Art of War. A 2001 guide listed Fists of Vengeance among the evil and RPK monarchies, with the tag VI.
