NWA (Newbies Wit Attitude)

NWA began as Subedei's tag and grew the way anti guilds on Darktide had to, by swallowing smaller ones. Nim brought his monarchy of about 350 out of Bandit Castle; Bannok brought Disintegrator; Vanyel the Herald and Hog-The-Feared came in with theirs, each worth fifty to two hundred followers. The biggest merger was Stargod. Sendog had bought the level 76 character, and because Stargod stood higher than anyone in the guild, Sendog/Stargod became the monarch tag and NWA started to be a name people knew. They made Kryst their home and allied with the House of Sagacious as the S&S Alliance, aiming first at the Black Spawn Den and in the long run at Ayan Baqur. Boar, who fought them, called them a class act. On 30 May 2001 the tag changed again, from Stargod to Yukon Jack, a famous high-level character that had been Pnot's in Blood and that Sendog had also bought. By October Subedei was in college and rarely online, and a council of fifteen to twenty leaders ran the guild. That month Hog led NWA, TAO and the other antis against Blood's Mountain Retreat lifestone, thirty to fifty strong, and the coalition was gone within days; then NWA joined GEN and Fists of Vengeance under the TLS banner. The DNN still counted NWA separately in December 2002, at 1,459 followers. Subedei's Fight Night, "an NWA production", was invite only, and people tried to raid it; Dranven helped police it and the uninvited were killed at the edge.
