| Just a bit of friendly advice, easiest way to get D scarabs is to get a nugget, 4 motes, and hand it to the guy at the NW fort, same one you give ore to, he gives you 5 diamond scarabs in return for the nugget. So if you have motes instead of trading just do that. |

| Thank you kindly... I just found that out the other day....lol. I noticed that he asked for motes, slivers, nuggets or bars. What does he give out for each item?..... does a bar equal 10 diamond scarabs? |

Give him a mote: you get a hint for the herb used in ring spells,
Give him a pyreal sliver: you get a hint for the talisman used in ring spells,
Give him a pyreal nugget: you get 5 diamond scarabs,
Give him a pyreal bar: you get a scroll for 'Eye of the Storm'.Splitpea is kinda more useful though.
