until they calm down.

4. NO ENTRY FEE. But any donations will be used as part of the prize for that division.
5. DOUBLE ELIMINATION. gotta die twice to be out of it.

And the results, so far!

1) Justinian over Spooge D'Amour : A good bout of debuffing, vulning, drains, and war spells! The end came when Justinian's lightning came in under Spooge's radar...

2) Annalynn Dragonfire over Rock Daddy : Rock Daddy learned that just because Annalynn wears pretty matching blue, she ain't no Carebear! ;-)

3) Methander over Eunucher : Eunucher finally found a foe that hits harder than Hunter Shreths... ;-)

4) Knyphsun Phitz over Vox Machina : Mr. Phitz ended his buffing session with a flurry of cough-inducing buffs (gems), and the two went toe-to-toe for about 5 minutes. Before the fight, all bets were on Vox, but Phitz raised a few eyebrows. Phitz was finally victorious in one of the longest and best-matched fights in the tourney! Well done on both parts!!

5) Mana Man over Peter Pez : The Pez Man rushed in to participate, and found himself on the business end of a nasty was spell...

6) Buffy TVS over Mushka : Despite Mushka's protestations, Buffy's healing skill kept her health pretty-much topped off in this one. Mushka looked to be running a marathon, as he left radar 3 times just trying to survive Buffy's attacks, but 2 Buffy axe-changes later, he was forced to concede.

7) Shadow-Hawk over Keitaro : The tourney organizer defeats the tourney timekeeper in a wild battle!

8) Vox Machina over Rock Daddy : Rock Daddy gave it his all, but his extreme-Axe template won't fully mature for a few more levels yet... ;-) Rock Daddy goes 0-2 while Vox evens out at 1-1.

9) Annalynn Dragonfire over Knypshun Phitz : Before the fight, Phitz said to Eunucher, "Ha ha, you got beaten by a GIRL!" After the fight, Phitz said to Eunucher, "Shut your stink-hole." Annalynn hits 2-0...

10) Mana Man over Buffy TVS : Despite a good attack-break-attack offense, Buffy was unable to continue evading Mana's war spells... Mana hits 2-0, 1-1 for Buffy.

11) Keitaro over Spooge D'Amour : Not your classic mage vs. mage matchup, as Keitaro switches to melee after the initial debuffs and vulns. This was a close one, as Spooge's Fire Bolt V crisped the ground at Keitaro's feet as Keitaro swung the fatal blow with his lightning-stick... Spooge retires at 0-2.

12) Mushka over Buffy TVS : Learning from his mistakes during the first battle, Mushka used appropriate buffs to avoid Buffy's scarier hits. With some rather unnecessary self-commentary, Mushka finally took Buffy out. Buffy retires at 1-2.

13) Methander over Vox Machina : Finally freeing himself of other obligations, Methander joins the fray and manages to knock-off the tournament's fiesty sword-girl. Vox Machina ends at 1-2.

14) Justinian over Shadow-Hawk : In the only match that I saw that was longer than the great Vox/Phitz match, Shadow-Hawk worked hard to stay out of the way of Justinian's magic, while getting the necessary vulns on his patron before switching to crossbow. Remaining patient, Justinian maintained his pool of mana, and finally caught Shadow-Hawk mid-shot at about the 8 minute mark. Great fight!

15)Annalynn Dragonfire over Methander : Methander's high Melee D that caused Vox problems also gave him an edge in this fight. Annalynn's high protective buffs and strong swing saved her butt, and despite his powerful attacks, soon put Meth on the defensive then finally to an electrical end.
