I don't like talking about where I'm from but I'll tell you this...

There's more spiders and shit here than you'd freakin' beleive.

Frankly...I'm not crazy about spiders...anybody else got any horror stories out there?

Speaking of arachnids...hell yeah...a little trivia...

I, myself, eat semi-kosher...all that nasty shit...shrimp, lobster, (spicy hot!)crawfish...those are all arachnids...cousins to the spider, centipede, and millipede among other nasty, nasty fucking things.

Yes, indeed, a Wal Mart lobster tank smells like a sumo wrestler took a dump on a burning tire...I know.

And its usu near the vegetables...freakin' disgusting.

I got a spider story. But first, I would be a total vegean if it wasn't for shellfish...I hate fish, but Shrimp, Lobbys, Crawdaddys, Oysters = YUMMY!

When Pooh and I got our property, there were tons of Black Widow Spiders (Shiney black, red hourglass (oh and the stickbugs and scorpions)). The pest control guy would totally freak out. He would save the rare Brown, Black Widows (We had a lot of thoses too (Brown w/orange hourglass)).

One day, I found an Albino, Black Widow (White w/pink hourglass). So I call the guy and he is freaking, like NO WAY (I saved it in a Gatorade bottle). He sends his dumbbutt tech out to get it; he he tells me it is a Banana Spider (I think I know a Widow from a Banana, by now).

I decided to feed it for the other guy to come get it, so I sat under my porch light until I caught a dragonfly. Did you know dragonflies, can eat Widows. That sucked, but Pooh saw it.

Then one day the Barn Brats caught a scorpion, and after about two weeks of them, naming it "Spike," feeding it, I didn't have the heart to kill it. We took it on a trailride with us and dumped it out.

I could start a whole thread about rat stories too. Aren't barns fun!

I HATE SPIDERS! but the worst thing we get here are wolf spiders.

To cold for most large spiders killer bees and other things like that

Heh, we have wolf spiders here...they get enormous...as big as my outstretched hand sometimes.

I have to get rid of those if I find one in the house. Anything smaller I have just learned to live with. Seems like there's always one in the shower for some reason.

That's incredible about the black widows, Bunny. They are so evil lookin but elegant. I had one once that laid eggs. I destroyed them. No way was I gonna have 400 little black widows runnin around.

What prompted me to write this was webs...I always run into them at night. Sometimes I walk around with my arms outstretched. It looks crazy but if you've walked face first at night into a web that covers you head to toe you would understand.
