| I spent the last weekend in the Dires, and will
probably stay out here as long as possible. If someone needs me, I'll
come back to the east side of the island. If not, I'll stay on the
west-sieeeed. |
| Hunting out here is amazing. I earned 100K XP in
a few hours. I also racked up 20% v, but it's easy to work off if
you're patient. I'm able to solo the little drudges out there. (Lurkers?
The level 39 guys) Skeleton Captains poop magic scrolls. Skeleton
Lords give up some good things from time to time. I bought an Armor
IV ring in the tavern at the Fort. My AL is too low to use it right
now, so if someone needs it (AL req: 150 or so) I'll be glad to hand
it over. |
| The cost of living is pretty high out here, as spell
comps cost a LOT more than normal. Tapers are over 80 a piece, i think.
But that's offset by the higher money received from Loot. Even gems
and jewelry can be sold for more than 100% of their value. |

Metallic Golems (Copper, Iron, etc. I fizzle too much)

| My thoughts on the fort if you get out there. First
thing is: I go back and forth from the fort to the east, so give me
a shopping list and I will shop when I get back for you. |

the things to avoid and go after vary for each
of us:
Lurkers..... everybody go after them almost 3k
xp and only lvl III spells, they are dumb too, only will cast 2
or 3 spells a battle tumeroks are fair game too, just watch the
priest... lvl IV spells skeletons except for the lords are fair
game too.... lords use lvl IV so be careful with them. Wild Monouga.....
all warriors jump on these bad boys... 1,800 xp and no magic.. just
big outcast and just as slow.

border line stuff
drudge stalkers.... I soled them with miko at level
24, but was not easy. level IV spells and they are level 51 if you
can take them awesome xp. ash gromies.... warriors can take them,
but be careful they hit hard (true to there prey) silver rats....
this is something for speed warriors.. they evade a lot. usually
unarmed and swordsmen (using stabbing) take them out for the mages
and everybody else. acid damage and can give you a quick purple
ride.. they are true to there prey, so a warrior can engage (tank
:) and the archers or mages can fill in. copper, granite and iron
golems.... depends how good you are on them... being unarmed simone
and I seek them out... golems are an unarmed person's dream....
just punch them and down they fall for us...

and the run like hell stuff :)
Gold wasp...... these thing hit like you wouldn't
believe... Last night simone and I found that we can take one, but
one of us will take 100 damage and run away then the other will
kill it when it returns.... not much fun, but does kill the little
pricks.. drudge raveners.... lvl 59... most mages once they get
there feet wet... (hakeem will soon) love these things... cast fire
vulnerability then fire ball them I think they do.... warriors....
well I can't solo one at lvl 28 but simone and I can smash them
and with good success, so bring a friend... shadows..... well I
think we all know what to do with a shadow.... let somebody else
kill it :-) tuskers.... slaves and guards..... they are like lvl
120 something.... are you nuts enough to take them on, be my guest...
I have to try some today just cause I haven't yet Verindi... lvl
V spells I think maybe only IV but they hit hard and the tuskers
are with them, so well um, um I leave them alone..

What the hell is up with this guy.......
Vorous Shreth.....lvl 47.... heard he was a bad
ass, so avoided him.... well got sick of that and creamed the little
prick... now simone and I seek them out and take like 10 damage
while killing one.... granted that's 2 on 1 but hey we like the
odds.. [see pics in Gallery]
