Specializing magic d can payoff at extremely high levels, but only if you start with 100 self/focus. For a melee with only 55 focus, specialized life or melee d will be a lot more beneficial. My suggestions are

1) Spec: Arcane, UA, Melee D
Train: Life, Mana C
Healing@ 6
Mana @ 14
Creature at 50

At higher levels it's relatively easy to hold onto anything worth less than 4k, so arcane lore is a skill that all characters should have. If you don't want to specialize it, just train it and train item enchantment at the start. Then you'll get creature by 40.

2) 100/10/100/50/60/10
Specialize: Arcane, UA, Life
Train: Item, Melee D

Healing @ 6
Mana C @ 12
Creature @ 50

Template 1 is a better raiding template, past lvl 50 not many people can touch you, but template 2 is better for solo raiding and it's a little more versatile. In either case specializing arcane isn't a must, but personally I think it's worth specializing.

Message Klumsy Smurf or Ferocious-Noodle in game if you have any questions.

Have a smurfy day
