Against banderlings...
Use your lightning sword. Bandy are susceptible to lightning.
Fire also works well against them.
If you're attacked by a group, kill the Young and Scouts first, then
the
Raiders.
Do the Guards last, they have the highest melee D and will take the
longest,
and if you kill the others first, your stam will hold out longer.
Are you using hotkeys? I have a healing kit on key 9, and myself
on key 8.
This makes for a nice quick heal. If you're healing in combat, stop
and heal
before you get below half health. In fact your chances are better
if you
heal at about 2/3 health. If your health gets below half, your Healing
skill
is unreliable. At that point, you need to either finish off your
opponent,
use healing potions (expensive!), or run.
Let me have a run down on your equipment again. I have a tendency
to just
sell most of the swords and armor, etc that I find. Most people
in the
Source already have better stuff than the things I find anyway.
If I know
what kind of things you have, I can keep an eye out. I'm killing
bugs
nowadays, and they sometimes drop nice things.
Do you have a fire sword, and an acid sword. These will come in
handy
against particular opponents while you're still in your teen levels.
Fire is
good on matty and mossworts. Lightning is good on bandy and lugies.
Acid is
good on certain golems (limestone, sandstone).
If you're hunting the mayoi beaches, lightning is a good all-around
weapon.
Most of the critters there are either vulnerable to it, or at least
they
don't have special resistance to it.
Do you know about death items? At your level, carry around about
three or
four of the most expensive mana stones. These are available in the
hidden
mayoi mage tower. I can give you some cash if you're poor. If you're
killed,
you will be likely to lose your death items, which means you still
have an
armor and weapon when you go back for your corpse.
This weekend is bad for me too. Going out of town tomorrow. We'll
have to
hook up sometime next week.
Later
