Ok just to talk about it.......

What is your most exciting Kill?

I bet many of you would expect me to say the olthoi soldier I soloed last night is, but it isn't...... Nothing that Miko can kill now gives me the excitement of some of my earlier kills....... Now I expect and know that at some point in time, like the lvl 38 unarmed in the lair last night, I will even solo olthoi nobles......

So what was my most exciting kill?

With No-Leggs it was right after the patch when I killed an Ice Golem with one swing...... I almost fell to the floor...... never hit anything like that before with him..

Miko's most exciting kill was the first time he soloed an Ash Gromie....... I was so sick of purple express from them...... the first solo kill was just satisfying....... that was probably about the time I realized that my Character was done right to be able to kill everything in Dereth if I chose to do that over time...

I would really like to hear about your most exciting Solo kill, but if your most exciting kill was with a group then by all means share it with us......

Hey I mean wasn't that awesome when we killed Hoary Mattakers as a group :)

The first Great Mattekar I soloed was quite a rush for sure! I did it totally alone one day on Hoary Hill. I had to run and return once. This was right when I succeeded in applying 3 level III buffs.

After that is has to be SHADOWS. Before the last patch when shadows were around Teth I killed a Lieut while someone else was tanking. That was awesome. Honestly I think Tethena is less fun now w/o the Tumerocks, skeletons, ash and shadows. I Don't really fell a sense of danger around the place anymore.

The one that pops to mind first ---

My most exciting Kills where when I took Druss at level 28 I think it was - down to the second level of ther Folthid cellar and got the dagger of tickola alone.

I had attempted this numorous times, and always died and actually had to call for backup a number of times.

I think at level 28 I was finally able to kill all the liches, all the sclavi, all by myself.

Its pretty damn exciting at level 28 to jump down into that first green glowing room and know that you are all alone against a level filled with Liches and mosswart shamans, and there is no way out but down - or the purple tunnel express and then having to call for help.

Getting the dagger of tickola alone, off the body of the Aste Sclavi was a damn good feeling after killing 7 liches to do it.

Ok it just happened.

I was chatting with Muttfyre when he said want to go hunt the Tuskers and Vinidi that spawn near the fort. Well at first the nightmares of multiple contusions, lacerations, and deaths from past attempts popped into my head, but I grown a lot since then. So thinking I maybe had a chance I run to check it out well Muttfyre is off shopping. (Important note is I am not playing on my home PC so the connection is worse and the computer is slow) I get there and one mage is running away as a Tusker Slave chases him. He gets away and I ask if it is ok for me to hunt with him, he is lv31, he says sure these things tough. I ask if he vulned it, nope it resisted. Ok so I vuln it...here it comes...bam 38hp ouch these things hurt, but I stay and fight. Abracadabra I do 175 with my fire bolt, still has over half health. Bam 28, bam 25, Whomf I burn it for 137, it is still alive, bam 23, bam 25, SPLACK! one dead slave and I did it toe to toe.

It was SO COOL!!!!!

Ok it was a Drudge Lurker at teth, im lev 19 and have 3pts of health left, he had about the same, we meleed for 5 rounds of missing each other and then i scratched him. I finally felt like it was ok for me to be in the dires.

Didn't even have to think twice to know which one it was for me.

I was playing Caessa II (Sister C hadn't been born yet :-). She had just trained in xbow and Mutt had been kind enough to help me learn how to use an xbow to its maximum advantage and now I was on a mission.

I was hunting on the beach on afternoon by myself. Sure I had killed everything on the beach at one time or another -- BUT it had always been with the help of someone else. This particular day, live or die, I was off to solo the bad boys on beach.

As I adventured down the beach I was having great success. Everything but me was dying so far. I then ran into one of those big ass lugs -- I have second thoughts about whether I can do it by myself. What the hell -- I throw caution to the wind and I power up, take a deep breath and plunge into battle. I shoot, I hit, I sidestep. I shoot, I hit, I *try* to sidestep -- ooommphhh I get hit in the head with one of those big ass rocks, I look at my screen. OUCH!! damn he hit me for a whopping 94 pts. (my life total at that point was only in the high 90's!!).

So, I retreat, heal up and head back for round 2. I shoot, I hit, I sidestep. Rock goes by. I shoot again, I hit, I GET LAGGED!!! Damn, he hits me with one rock, he hits me with another rock! Damn, PURPLE TUNNEL EXPRESS ride!!! ugghhhhh

Ok, we all know how much I hate to die -- but this day be damned. I am gonna kill that thing if I die trying -- hmmmm, already died! Well you get the idea :-)

I run back, I run in get my stuff back -- get hit with one rock. I run back and heal up, power up and take another deep breath and plunge in for the next round. I shoot, I hit, I sidestep. Again, I shoot, I hit, I sidestep. About 4 more shots later, KABOOOOM, I see this big ass lug's ass hit the ground. WOOWOO! I find myself jumping up and down in my chair (Jamie thinks I have finally fallen off my rocker!).

I promptly declare myself "ONE LUG MARE" ...
