Just an Idea.....

I have not been playing on Dark Tide a lot, but I have a little. Man is that place populated by stupid punks. Holy god is there a lot of stupid people in the world.

And I have been playing a lot of Harvestgain, but not as much as I used to.

I even watched Simpsons AND X-files last night!!!!

(I played AC while that stupid Malcolm in the middle was on)

And I started thinking about Goals, and how I am very goal oriented.

I need to have goals in game in order to enjoy it. And you can only go for so long with the goal of "I want to kill a bunch of stuff, and get k00l Lo0t."

(Frore this weekend? Get a geldite robe for a mage? Thats gonna be cool.)

And I was thinking about Darktide, and how I wanted to move the Source over, and make Yanshi Safe.

That would be cool.

And then I started thinking a little bigger.

How's this for a goal....

The Once and Future King of Darktide.

We bring peace to ALL of darktide.

No,no, it gets better.

We have every single person that is good and honorable be Source. We make all the good alliances swear to us. We get 1000 people under us. We get EVERYONE good to be part of our alliance, or they are kill on sight.

This last part is the best role playing aspect of all.

Beacuse in Fuedal times, (Anyone ever see excalibar?) Land was divided up by monarchies, and the only way to take over new land, and become the one king, was to take over other monarchies. Make them your vassals. Now, I might not have anything against, say, the Peacekeepers, but it would be fantastic roleplaying to try to convince them to join us. Have the leaders meet, and discuss alliances. Go to war with the peacekeepers if they do not see that we are the ONE allliance.

just a thought for august. I'm sure I'll think of something else before then, but hey, that tickles my fancy now.
