Well, I'm getting ahead of myself.

First, I would like to point out to everyone that the Source is at peace
again.

I know that I can see a difference. The mail list is quiet, there is a lot
less tension, and i can feel us coming together again.

I have my own theories about why this is, but it wouldn;t be very polite, or
leaderlike to say why.

But, damnit, I feel good about the Source again. I feel like we are again a
real live strive to be excellent, respected group.

It feels very good.

Second, I would like to thank Dave for going to go get the fire stone,
learning the dungeon, leading the expedition, and more. He did a great job,
and I'm damn happy with the way it turned out. There were a few rough spots,
but, we made it through and we actualy had a big event saturday where there
isn't going to be a flame war on Monday. Thank god.

The only person who did not get a fire stone that wanted one was Snakeyes,
due to an untimely death. Sorry Snakeyes. We will get you in the future.

So, I got my firestone. Wow are these things had to use. 280 Axe skill and
180 Arcane lore. Holy cow. As Druss, I have to equipe Arcane 4 in order to
use it.

Sadly, I really wanted to one hit kill Matties with this, and I can't. I was
hoping that a 10-20 BD4 axe would do some serious damage to Matties, and it
does, just not as much as I would hope. It used to take 3 hits to kill a
Great, now it takes two. I was hoping for one.

So, I wasn't that thrilled with my fire stone. It hits damn well, and
Heartseeker 4 makes it +10 to attack, so thats awesome. And it does do a ton
of damage, but I was hoping to one hit kill great matties. It doesnt.

So, I wasn't that thrilled.

Until this morning

This morning, we went to a Tusker dungeon.

The last time I went to a tusker dungeon was o.k., but not great. I don't
have a fire axe. So I was using my hammer. And unless someone imps the
tuskers, I hit for a crit of maybe 50. And I never got loot rights. Loot
rights mean a lot to me. They mean that I am doing my job. They mean that I
am a success as a character. And the last time I went to a tusker dungeon,
was pretty discouraging.

Ok, NOW

NOW I am happy with my fire stone.

Wow is this thing a beating against Tuskers. I regularly hit Tuskers for 102
about one out of 6 times. I know matties have about a hundred hit points,
and are a lot easier to hit than Tuskers, so how come I can't one hit
matties? Oh well, doesn't matter. I hit tuskers for 102.

Still lose loot rights to Rojon the beating machine, but hey, I hit for 102,
I'll take it.

Now I just need to try it out on Revs and Dark revs.

Can't wait for that.
