I can get tapers in Arwic, portal around to yanshi, be done, back to
leveling.

Nope. I go lifestone in Arwic and there are HUGE Shollos vassals camping
every entrance into town, the armory, and the mage shop. No dice.

Run to cragstone. Most quiet town I have ever been in. Two level one guys
ignoring each other and running from me.

Despite this, I cannot find the Mage shop.

Portal to Hebian To.

Bloods, XL's and Dark Masters are everywhere. Ranging from level 18 to 48.
Not good.

I run off, log, put the dogs out, and come back. Sweet. Mage shop is empty
now. I go in and buy

100 red tapers
some Copper and Silver Scarabs for Mare and Drake
25 of every other taper.

Now to deliver them to Yanshi.

As I get to Yanshi, I see a bunch of people in town called "Kill em all"

But I don't see them PK anyone, and of course, they make no threatening
moves towards me, so I leave them be. But I don't trust them.

I go deliver stuff to mule tower, just as Mhali logs on. I hand her mule all
the stuff, and then I say

"Wanna hunt pks? I think there are some in town."

"Sure!"

"Ok, I have a throwaway guy in town, gimme a minute and see if they attack
him. He's white, so it will take a minute for him to be red. Then we'll
see."

I log off and log back in as my experimental guy. I wait until I am white,
then I run to town all red and tasty and tender for some pk's.

I stop at the armory.

La la la. just looking at the stuff. La la la... no threat here.

Valvenis (catch the name? : - ) ) runs right up to me and sticks me with an
electric trident. An archer starts shooting me. Ooops, better attack back
just to make it look good. They are in a fellowship named USMC or something
like that. I die.

Now I log back in as Druss at the Mule tower with Mhali

We now join a chat log in progress.

Mare got this off a level 12 PK last nght in Yanshi. It's a lightning war
hammer with BD4, a great lightning weapon for when no one is around to give
my SoCS buffs.

So now they are swarming me, and I take a look at my health, and its like -
full. Not that this is so impressive, but its nice to finally be relatively
big. A whole swarm of low level guys is around me, and I am a little worried
about Mhali, so, I'm killing them as fast as I can. I should have slowed
down. Doh. Didn't mean to be a pig Mhali.

in my log. Then I run to Shoushi, and off to Lin.

Actually, from how easy they went down, I should have sent Mhali in alone.
She would have wiped the floor with them. Of course, you never know this
until AFTER the fight is done. :-)

I come out of the Portal to Nanto and two guys are running down the road. I
assess them, level 26 and 24, a good fight, one is a mage so I would
probably lose. Oh well, I'm going to Lin, so I'll start to run that way, and
see if they make a move. They have no alliance I recognize.
