This is really the wrong order.

The Nanto lifestone is heavily camped, and every time you go there you
should buff up. Its much easier to make the portal jump to Yanhi unbuffed,
because thats usually camped by sub level 20s. The Nanto lifestone always
has people at it.

Let me add to your "pretty exciting day" thread with my Pretty exciting day.

I get home, intent on doing chores before AC. I saddle up the dogs and am
walking out the door to take them to the river behind our house.

Marilyn "Can you log onto AC? TSS has some stuff for you."

"Now?"

"Yup."

My dogs don't like getting leashes on and then told "Hang on just a minute"

I sign on, GRUNT Ginger over to TSS muling spot (Hey TSS, there are 5 people
with mules in the advocates tower, maybe you ought to move yours over there?
;-)) And TSS has a sweet axe for me.

8-16 +7 to attack skill BD5. Nearly the rival of anything I have on HG, and
a month ago, better than anything I had on HG. Sweet! Without Item, this
makes me!!! I'm now more like the level 30 guy I am. Best axe I have up
until this point is a heart seeker 3, bd3 battle axe - 5-10 - total utter
crap compared to this.

So, I log off, go walk my dogs, come back, mowing the lawn can wait another
day.

Sign onto lug citadel , leave, intent on running to Yanshi to get my new
axe.

TSS says "ahahahahaha Maulers are insaane!"

Silent has a new axe for me. Lightning Silifi, +7 to melee Defense, 6-11,
BD5. SWEET! Now I don't need anyone to buff my silifi, I can just charge
this and actually do some damage to lugs with this.

Silent says he is lifestoned in Mayoi, and if I run there I can have it.

I run there instead of Yanshi.

I message silent "Ok, I'm near the..."

And A red dot comes into veiw. I'm half buffed, and I think, I'll just run
off, and Silent willl portal in, and we'll wreck this guy.

I get smashed for a lot of damage because the guy is Unarmed, and sticks to
me like glue. I'm like, damnit, what weapon is he using? Looks like acid.
Better turn so my sheild is to him, and start to heal.

Tip - If you are melee, facing melee, don't run. It makes you look bad, it
annoys you, and you lose. Just stand and fight in die. Because your only
other choice is to run and look stupid and die.

Tip - don't be lazy. Heading into Civilazation? Buff to full. Burn mana like
you are fighting Olthoi. Know why? Olthoi don't loot you.

Tip - Near PK's? Don't type long rambling love letters to your monarch.
Keep it short and shut the hell up and remember which world you are on.

Silent meets me in Lin and gives me my new Lug bashing stick.

I run to Yanshi looking for punks to kill, and decide to put on my carebear
armor. Might as well. More death items to protect my new axes, and all I'm
gooing to be doing for rthe next 5 levels is leveling the Lug Citadel. Since
I have 175 Str, I carry the reedshark and matty with me too as backup armor
for when I die.

Tip - just because things are expensive is no reason to leave them on a
mule. So someone kills me and takes my cool leggings. How good did they look
on my mule? What is the point? Someone kills me and takes my new axe, so
what? If TSS had sold it it would have brought him 5k. I'm pretty sure
silent didn't need 5k.

I go get my carebear armor and sheild. Fihne, I'm wearing my death items
now. Bettere than rotting on a mule and looking good on her. I can't help
it, I like looking good.

Then I head back to Shoushi, then nanto so mare can port me back to lug
citadel, thanks Mare!

No one in yanshi to kill, no one camping the Shoushi portal, How boring.

Run through Nanto, two low levels there, both very nice, wary of me. One of
them shows me where the healer is. I give her a 1k note for it. The other
one talkswith me for a bit, then takes off.

"Pk in Nanto, help"

I go booking it back, and there is a level 12 guy attacking my new low level
friend, and I smash him in two hits, open the corpse and let my new friend
loot him. Then I head over to the lifestone.

"The Defiler" is there. ID him, Vassal of Graveborn (Why the HELL didn't I
save this entire adventure in chat log form? What am I, a moron?)

I attack him immediatly, and he turns on me. He does more damage to me, than
I to him and a guy I just killed in Yanshi (oops, forgot this) starts
HEALING me!

Dark Shadow Mage.

Certainly seemed PK, but tells me after that he swears he is not.

I get a heal off, and now I am back to full, and start swining again. The
defiler is my exact level.\

"Mare, help"

Mare looks at my screen and with Wits of STEEL! Portals to the lifestone,
imps the Defiler and the defiler goes "Shurov Thiguz!"

Elapsed time of "Mare, Help" to portaling out - three seconds. Nice job
wifey!

Defiler messages me and says "one on one?"

I am shaking, and talking with mare and dark shadow mage and do not respond
right away.

Defiler tells you "Wanna duel?"

/tell the defiler "no thanks. Not right now."

Defiler tells you " Why not?"

/tell the defiler "Well, I have a bit of viate, and I am going to level and
help some friends, not really dressed for a duel. Some other time perhaps."

the defiler tells you "Ok"

/tell the defiler, "plus, well, I think you will beat me, and I don't need
more vitae"

the defiler tells you "LOL, You're cool, I won't fight you now. Ever."

/tell the defiler, "You are under graveborn, so we must fight. It will be
fun. Good luck to you. We'll have a nice battle next time we meet"

/the defiler tells you "lol, ok! See ya."

I don't think he is used to the cool attitude that Silent fosters in all of
us.

And, he would have beaten me.

I really did have vitae, so I could not use the new axe that silent gave me.
I have to have no vitae to use it. So our duel would have be him fully
buffed, and me using well, crappy axes with no item. Essentially, him fully
buffed, me not. For me, without a good axe, a dule against someone means,
they put swiftkiller, heartseeker, bd, defender on their best weapon, and I
try to attack them with a SOCS with no buffs.

gotta get to work.

Mare portals me to Lug Citadel and I nearly get Mhali killed numorous times,
and I do get drake and chinnok killed numorous times.
