Because this was supposed to end with me showing you my Chat log with Action
Man. I buffed CORRECTLY for once, and this guy was a level 37 melee using a
peerless atlan sword with the major lightning stone.. and

Maximum OWNAGE!!!

Only, I don't have the chat log. I smashed him. He got away, but I smashed
him, and I felt great about it.

Silent recommends I use my Silifi of Crimson Stars because of the lightning
factor, and all sheilds have excellent protection against Blunt.

That may be so, but heres why.

SOCS - I cast BD4, SK4, HS 4, now I'm out of mana. It has +10 to attack
maybe. And is speed 20.

Hammer - I cast SK4, HS4, and Imp 3 on my leggs. I have enough mana left now
that I can Lifestone recall in 30 seconds if things go bad. It has +17 to
attack, Speed 3, and Casts Strength 5 on me, which ups my axe skill about 10
more points, reduces my burden (which ups my speed) and works better for the
sticky factor because it is so fast.

I had this configuration on against Action Man. And I owned him.

In fact, despite my deaths, I hit a LOT better this evening than the one
before. Even in the Olthoi Lair. The other night just must have been one of
those nights where you suck on AC. We've had that discussion before. How
some days you own things and the next day everything crits you and you do
less damage. Anyone remember that discussion? And, I did learn how to recall
really fast, so my pvp is getting better in the sense that I can react
better.
