Og is in town as I materialize. Chinook, me, Acid Sin, Natalie Portman and
others chase him FOREVER. He never stops to fight anyone within 15 levels of
him. Every time I caught up with him, he took off, ten levels his junior. He
lost everyone but me and chinook. I tell him - "look, its just two guys,
nearest one not even within ten levels of you."

He does not stop and just keeps running.

He comes into town and kills a bunch of level 5's and 1's though.

He runs around Yanshi and off into the sunset for a good 30 minutes,
stopping to fight chinook once or twice (twenty levels below him) and when I
catch up, takes off.

He stops once to test me and hits me for zero 4 times and runs off. I get in
4 hits of 15, 30, 12, 25, and he runs again.

really, really sad. This is the Legend? You have to be kidding me. How sad.

After 30 minutes I tell chinook, " I am breaking off, I am sick of this."

Chinook keeps chasing and I say "You are on your own, be careful."

Now he stops. :-)

Unicron comes to town and is run off.

Testertips starts to drain me, I jump off the armory roof and.....

Have you ever heard me say this before?

I do not say this often.

I am not lying or exagerating.

I hit attack, nothing happens, scream at the computer screen "ATTACK!!
JESUS!!!"

Nothing happens.

I see the whole world freeze like a picture.

And now I'm in a blue tunnel.

ARGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!

Sometimes you are the windshield, sometimes you are the bug.

Despite 35 minutes of frustration, it was a great weekend.

Can't use super axe.

Mares lowbie axe girl is playing around town, and Hustler comes to town and
kills some people and is really arrogant about it.

Nope, still white, and lag is ungodly to boot.

Jump back onto the armory roof.

Buff with almost everything. I forgot my sheild sucks since it has no imp
when I have vitae. Damn.

Attack Hustler, he is using Acid. Oh my do my legs suck against a Major Acid
Stone.

Oh look, and here comes Testertips.

I jump through the Yaraq portal and luckily, only Hustler follows me.

Have I mentioned he is wearing this sweet Amuli Outfit? Red? Matching legs
and top?

We start to fight and he is beating the crap out of me.

I stop to drink a healing potion, and since I have reorganized my hot keys,
I screw up! Gah! I remove my SHEILD in the MIDDLE of a FIGHT!!!

Gahhh!!!

I'm down to 10 life!!!

I equipe the sheild again, drink 4 healing potions, heal to full, and start
to go on the offensive.

BAM BAM BAM!!!!

He gets below half and starts to panic (I guess) and pulls out his wand.

Ka BLAM!!!

I am now the proud owner of a high mana charge, red amuli pants, and oh yes,
red amuli top. And a nice fez for my wife's new axe newbie.

You are so very true on so many things that you say.

I did mistell my story though.

He would not turn and face me and chinook for a good twenty minutes when it
was just the two of.

In my account, I made it sound like he turned and faced me, found out he
could do nothing, and would not engage Chinook and I later when it was just
him and I.

We chased him for twenty minutes, many of it with just chinook and I deep
deep in the wilderness, with no support in sight for 5 clicks. He never
turned on us. It was later on that he turned and hit me for zero, so for
quite some time he ran from two guys, one ten levels lower, one twenty.

Also, it is hard to play the hero when the villain refuses to fight. It gets
very frustrating, so I was upset. Doesn't make it right, and I will
apologize to Og for a couple of comments I made. I don't think I trash
talked, but I did say one or two things that were out of line for our group.

And even if I played Druss of HG over here, I would test myself against
people within ten levels of me.

But, that all ignores the real issue.

You are, again, right TSS.

Two things.

I said in a post earlier this morning that he did not find out he was going
to hit me for zero until much later in the fight. He would never turn and
face me and chinook before he knew that he was going to hit me for zero.

It does make sense that once he knew he was going to hit me for zero, not to
stop. Or it would make sense to switch to a different weapon.

And even if he does not have magic, he does have the Major lightning stone.
That means he has a Heart Seeker 4, Blood Drinker 4, lightning pro 4,
weapon.

He's not using some crappy weapon he can't buff since he has no item.

And sheilds are so low in value that you almost never drop them.

So its not hard to keep an imp 4 or imp 5 sheild.

I have not lost mine yet. I've only had one sheild I have ever lost, and it
was super uber.

So his no magic thing means two things.

No swiftkiller

No portaling out.

(no imping his legs, but hey, I think he has shadow armor if I remember
correctly, so no imping there anyway)

Thats it.

And the no portaling out thing is null anyway since he is the fastest runner
on the planet.

You don't pull out your wand and shurov away in the middle of a fight. You
die when you drop your sheild. You have to run off, get some distance, and
then portal out.

For Og, he runs off, and then keeps running.

I will admit that he is an interesting character. I will also admit that he
role plays well. I will admit that he does not trash talk.

I will also admit that he is a coward.

Sorry, but he is.

If Druss on HG were to go PK, do you think I would only attack people 20
levels below me? Despite my gimped status?

Not on your life and you know it.

Og has many things going for him, but don't try to make excuses for the fact
that he IS a coward. He does not fight anyone that is even close to a decent
challenge.

And as for Silent saying "I run from even a possible loss situation" like
someone quoted his as saying earlier, well, he can say it all he wants, and
he can profess that the only way to win is to take on people your level and
lower, but we;ve seen the chat logs to prove that he DOESN:T do that. Silent
takes on people in NO WIN situations all the time.

And lastly, I added Og to my friends list. He signed on not 5 minutes later
this morning.

/tell Og, "I wish to apologize for some of the things I said last night.
That was weak of me, and I was just frustrated by your speed. I am deeply
sorry."

Og tells you, "Ugh"
