I'm really loving AC again, even Darktide.

Mare will attest to the fact that I have been much better about being
PKed lately. Last night Teth was raided by Akuma's PK Player, and I
thought, "Revenge for the monarch!" not thinking for a minute that a
guy who can kill Silent, well, can probably kill me. Ok, so I was
hoping that Jin and other Teth defenders would come to my aid. They
did, but too late.

(Everyone should LS in Teth)

So I attack Akuma, hit him for 8, 8, 24 (SUPER COMBO!!!) and then
start getting smashed by Torlis (something like that) and Gelfling
the Elf (total ass). I try to get some distance to heal (dumb, just
stand and die like a man, don't run from UA.) They kill me. Since I'm
now LS at teth, I don't have a long run to try and loot my body. Too
late.

Gelfling the Elf says "Hey Druss, man, you suck."

LOL!

Just like Silent, I can finally laugh at these idiots. Getting ganked
by 3 guys at once, and dieing is no reason for me to think I suck, no
matter what this loser says. Nor any reason to get pissed off.

Lose some death items, no biggie.

Go fight some bugs, Natalie Portman is there and immediatly attacks
some guy Mare and I have chatted with for about 5 minutes. Now how do
I explain this without offending someone? Nat's a high stress cannon
sometimes, and I've left a fellow before because her attitude was
pissing me off. But she's been great ever since that one incident,
and I admire her attitude a LOT. She reminds me of Rorshack.

"No Compromise. Ever. You want me to keep silent? Kill me! Kill me!
Just do it."

(Everyone should LS in Teth)

But she was pissed at someone in the source the other day for not
helping her against someone she attacked. Let me just say that 2
weeks ago, I would have done the exact same thing this person did.
However... I am rapidly finding that your rep, and the groups rep, is
not forever tarnished if you attack a PK who has now turned Anti.
What happens is you explain whats happeneing. you make an enemy. You
explain whats going on, and go about your business. You hunt
somewhere else for a while and its all forgotten. Just like over
time, you forget all the names of the people who PK'd you when you
were little.

Also, I've been at the Lug Citadel, Teth, and now the olthoi horde
nest, attacked a high level PK, and the allies I was with say things
like "Whats going on?" or else just portal out, and it pisses me off.
I died to Rumble Yesterday because 5 of us were fighting him at the
OHN, and he is playing ring around through the portals. four of them
get sick of chasing him through portals and wait for him inside.
Meanwhile, I'm outside, fighting Rumble, ALONE wondering where the
hell all my frikkin allies went.

(Everyone should LS in Teth)

So you died?

Damn right I died. :-)

More death items gone.

So anyway, I attack this guy nat is attacking, and immediatly people
start healing him, others start harming him, etc. Typical chaos of
the Anti Alliances.

Here's my point.

The RIGHT thing to do is to ascertain what is really going on, and
see if you can do the right thing, and have peace for all. Thats the
Anti way. What I mean is, is that I am not questioning the guy who
last week asked Nat why she was attacking that guy. I support that
decision fully when you do not know what is going on. You did the
right thing.

The OTHER right thing to do is, to realize that its just a game, and
I for one am sick of PK's. Switching alliances to level, PKing when
Bored in an Anti Alliance, whatever. Since it is just a game, I'm
going to pick a side when I see a fight and get involved and start
hammering someone. I'll find out later if I was wrong or right. (just
read that over, what I mean is, if I see a high level fight, not
lowbies, and if I see that one is a friend, or one is in a respected
Anti alliance. If I see an Alberion Mindeater and a "neutral" alps
the feared fighting, I'm going to pick a mindeater and start hamering
on the Alps (who has a TON of reformed PKs now) I'm still staying out
of fights where no one is allied.)

So, that was exciting. I probably made a new enemy in helping nat,
but hey, I already have a ton of enemies, so who cares.

So I get some more loot, go back to sell at Teth and some other PK is
there, blasts the crap out of me, and now my DI bag is looking pretty
small. Like 18 items missing from it now... sigh. But for some
reason, I'm still in a good mood, and still haveing a blast.

The cool thing is, Silent is in Teth (Everyone should LS in Teth)
and I message him and I say Pk, just outside the walls... his name
is...)

Silent runs in and Hollow Katar eats him for supper. Yummy. Level 50
mage gets a beating.

Mare gives Senator a ride to Teth. Senator is having a blast and
keeps messaging mare and me.

"I'm finding EXP! ME! Finding EXP!!!"

"This is so much better than LC" he says. "So many less people and no
Lag. I've made as much XP as I make in two weeks! ME! Making xp!"

he he

Have I mentioned everyone should LS in teth?

:-)

A guy comes in selling a hammer worth 5k, he wants 20k for it. Ok.
Now I have a 7-13 +6 to attack hammer. SWEET!! Oh my god does the +6
help a lot. I get a TON less eveades from Soldiers and my crits are
higher.

Oh, and Sensai asked if he should move to the OHN at 30. The answer
is yes, in the same way that you should move to the Citadel at 15. It
will be hard at first, you will be frustarted at first, and you will
have to be prepared to run a lot at first. Olthoi are HARD. You CAN
survive there, but it takes patience and teamwork. Herri is there
too, so you guys can work together. You might want to stay in the
citadel just because you know it well, it gives great XP, and drops
healing kits. And now you are big enough to get out of the entrance
and try some gigas. I stayed at the citadel until level 40 actually.

Your choice.

But you SHOULD ls in teth. :-)

So, I try out my new Hammer, and not since the amazing Silent's
HAMMER OF GOD (+5 +7, Str 5, 6-12 hammer I lost a long time ago)
have I done so well with a hammer. Awesome stuff, well worth the 20k
I paid for it. Hell, it pays for itself in the first 5 minutes in the
nest in sheer joy alone.

I go back to teth, sell, and decide to check out Glendon Woods. I get
there and Jin is there, and he and a friend show me where the healer
and Mage is. Don't be decieved, there are healers and mages on the
road into GW that suck. The real ones are in GW proper.

As I'm buying mana stones and comps (only moderate charges, crap, are
there only 2 places to buy high?) Jin's friend casts Armor 5 on me.
Some more time passes and I get done shopping and notice Jin and his
friend outside the mage shop.

"Still here?"

"Just waiting for you my friend" he says.

Cool, I shurov back to teth. Oh look mage Crimson vassal looking to
Attune. SMASH SMASH SMASH, get him down to a quarter and he starts to
drain me. Jin and his friend jump in with hollows and finish him off.
I get loot rights and get a Super helm, STR 4 necklace, and 3 crappy
but expensive helmets.

Is every high level PK a mage? jeezus.

Mage Crimsons seem to be flocking to teth. They (mindeaters) need
reinforcements, and I'm not losing a tie to a nice place to hunt and
to sell.

Having a blast with Druss right now. I am inches from
becoming "done." and I like that feeling.

10 more points in my first 3 stats and I will be
200,200,200,100,100,100.

10 more points in Arcane and I can use all level 4 stuff with no
arcane boost jewelry.

I'm looking to learn level 5 spells tonight, and with another 10
points in Item (167 now) I should be able to cast them with some
reliability.

13 more points in Axe and I can use my SoCS without any jewlry or axe
gloves on. A MAJOR milestone. (I still need axe gloves if anyone
finds some, Rumble took my axe 4's and I'm using Axe one right now)

Once I get levels 5's, can use level 4 jewelry, and have all my stats
at 200/100, I'm done.

Done in the sense that it will be 3 months before I get another boost
in power like I am on the verge of being. And also, done in the sense
that when you can cast 5's and approach level 50, you start to be
really "big" in PK battles. The difference between 10-20 is HUGE in a
PK fight. The difference between 50 and 60 is not that big, or even
50-70. Stats and atributes start to slowly rise and level off even.

looking forward to 5's.

(Everyone should LS in Teth)

Good luck and have fun
