Chinook vs. Nic and Tek'a

This proved interesting and Nic proved that teamed with just about
anyone, anything, his threat factor increases exponentially.

I knew I needed to take or one or the other and it was game over.
Neither could stand up to me on their own.

Problem was that Nic wasn't letting that happen.

If I focused on Tek'a, Nic healed her.
I was dealing at least twice as much damage to her as I was receiving
and for a bit there I got the strafe/fire timed perfect to hit her as
she was firing then sliding to dodge.

Nic wouldn't let me keep her down.

I also tried Nic, but again, he healed so well that I was making
little headway and Tek'a steadily whittled me down with shots for 7-
13.

Time was called as being 2 minutes left, most of my time had been
spent off the screen of the audience so I decided to go for broke,
charge in closer and try to blow away Tek'a.
I already know I can make this a draw, no fun for us, for the
audience, and no learning.
She's going to take sometime to work me down with the damage she's
doing, and if I go close, I know Nic with stop all this defensive
crap and go for me.

That's fine because I know his finisher is a Harm and I can outrun a
Harm, just get that damn Tek'a out of the equation. No matter how low
I get, so long as Tek'a dies, I'm confident I can elude Nic.

Tek'a finaly unloads a big Crit with my own Greaters for a proper
headshot with me imperilled and Vulned...

And that was that.

Team Brawl

First thing I gotta say is we lost because we didn't have a proper,
coordinated plan.

Our plan consisted of the mages Light Vuln/Imperil everything in
sight.

I kept asking Target? What's my target??

I had no target.

I chose my own targets then, Acid Sin, Dhali, then whoever is
harrassing our Tanks.

Zeb says go and immediatley our Mages keel over dead and hope that
SOMETHING landed from them. 3 Melees fall in quick succession and I'm
trying to keep track of who we have left and who's doing the killing.

I've circled out and pick Acid out of the crowd. He was Nic's target
I think.

I hit him 2 or 3 times for absolute crap damage.
No Light Vuln there and some damn good Prots.

I try to find someonbe else to target and see TSS being harrassed by
Acid, Dhali, Drake and Zak.

I go for Drake, crap damage again. He must have the SOCS out, not the
Hollow.

Zak... Zak oughta be doable.
Nope... what the hell is he buffed with?

I find Dhali on my radar, Ooohhh! He's gotta go, can't leave 2
quality Mages on there team up and running.

Dhali is taking the hits HARD and Kumo decides to save Dhali, I break
off as if I'm runnning to Bandy Hill but instead I circle the Farmer
tent still locked on Dhali and finish him off.

Kumo tried again to save him, no avail.

Kumo has gotten annoying though so I turn on him and decide that my
Melee ought to be fine here and it is, I can outrace his damage...
until Drake joins in, OUCH!!

Gotta break and run again.
Breaking out of Bow animation is the SLOWEST ASS thing in the game!!!

I make it away after some scary hits, heal and come back with Frost
now since nobody seems to mind the Lightning.

As soon as I appear Drake, Kumo, Acid and was there someone else?
All tear after me.
This is not good...
Who's left?
I hope TSS is still there... anyone else?
Well, lets go for a little jog and give any teamates a chance to
recupe.
Acid hits me with Leaden Feet...
Annoying... I'm not pulling away very fast now, but no one's gaining.
Acid hits me with Weakness.
Damn... Drake seems to be gaining...
Time to pull off Coord and toss on Strength.
Ahhh... better... people are dropping back, Kumo calls out, "We're
coming for you!"
Correction, you WERE coming for me.

I need some space, I need for them to get separated.
Time to head back through the battle field and pick up my team.

Bodies everywhere...

Uh oh...

I AM THE TEAM NOW!

People are calling it off as Acid is landing Slowness, but he's the
only one behind me now.

I can see it in his eyes...

He wants me. He wants to leave no doubt, his side won.
I've got an arrow pointed at his head now.

I know how bad things look, I'm in HUGE trouble, but dammit... he
can't still have all his buffs up, my mind is racing, put Acid down
FAST before the others get here, take out Kumo... but dammit, how the
hell do I deal with Drake??????
I can get lucky perhaps with the first 2, but I can't fathom the kind
of odds I need to actually take out those 2 and STILL get Drake.

But then it's emphasized... TIME! It's Called...

Ah well, no shame in admitting that you're beat when you are.

1) Zak: Did You even use your bow? And if not WHY??????
2) TSS: Give us a run down of your picks and why.
3) Acid: Give us a run down of your picks and why.

Comment:
Nic, you HAD to be their first target, you were by far the biggest
threat that could also be neutrtalised quickly and you over Mhali
because it's Life that is the REAL threat in a group and you're the
better Life mage.

A fantastic night, just wish C could have been there.
