At this point, there are 3 of us, right at the last room with all the gigas
on it. We were on a bod recovery mission for Boom at the time. Try fighting
gigas at level 26 with a linen shirt on, not fun, lol. I'd already gotten my
coat by this time though.

Already, mass respawn. Two guys level 26, and one guy level 33. And the xp
was STILL insane through the fellow. To explain why I found it so intense,
even more than soloing tuskers, is I knew that misteps would kill me. Doing
tuskers in BSD, with all those buffs, I had some room for error, not here.

Ahh, much better, ok, back to killing things. I know, to look at it, it
looks boring. But we were using, without hardly talking, excellent tactics.

what not. Also, we had good positioning(i.e. tactics) blocking corridors,
tagteaming monsters. I don't think we even got too loot a third of the gigas
we killed.

Aslo, with so many lugies(I kept looking for the old woman with her
shoe)speed was the key. Need to conserve that stam. It got so bad at one
point, I fought at zero until I needed to use a healing kit, then drank a
stam potion to do so.

Ok, what's the time frame on level II spells? 5 minutes tops I think. So,
basically, I gave you a five minute clip from my night. Now, I hope you bear
with me here. I know it's long, and there's alot of "You evaded Lithos
Lugian!" in there etc etc, but I was just amazed at the adrenaline rush I
got. Not as good as chasing someone down as a red dot, but damn close.
Also, I know, all of you other meleers are going to tell me you have this
happen all the time, but it was new for me, and I loved it. Every minute of
it. We ended up going back up again, just the three of us, and clearing it a
third time. (This was the second, to get my corpse) I never thought that I
would get so into being a meleer. I only wish it was a video clip, instead
of text. There was so much maneuvering for position, offensive when we could
press an advantage, and defensive when we started getting overrun(Isn't that
a green card?). A question for you warriors out there. I know you maneuver
to keep things off your back, but have you had alot of the group melee
experience, where every shift you make can win or lose for you? If you move
a step to far, you get pushed out by one lugie, then can't swing at the other
one beating on your buddy. If you move a step to short, something gets to hit
you in the back of the head, etc etc. I don't think we've ever had any major
discussions about group melee tactics. Lots of stories, but nothing getting
into the tactical shifting when your in a group. I'd love to read something
from someone about it. I'm afraid my melee experience is no where near what
some of our other esteemed members have. Anyway, wow, I'm still picturing
the 15 axes swinging at my head.
