We all know his name, some of us fear it while
others look at him as just
another Pk. His name is Og. He is known through out the land of Dereth
for
his cruelness to lowbies, his inability to speak, and yes his amazing
stats.
It was just last night that Herrimone met Og face to face.
After spending a few rounds in the Citadel, Herrimone offers to
make a town
run for her fellowship. Her intentions were honorable; to sell as
much crap
as she could carry to share with Zak and Mhali. She visited Lin
on several
occasion and thought it to be a NICE town and never worried about
venturing
in. She LS recalls, exchanges her boots for quickness shoes, trades
willpower bracelet for Strength, and proceeds into town.
Her first stop, the armors. Here she hands over her sack containing
various items..breastplates, tofu's, gauntlets, etc. The shopkeeper
hands
her 6k in pyreal. Not a bad trip she thinks as she runs off to the
Jeweler.
Here, she exchanges her sac of gems and goodies for 4K. Excellent!
This
should keep Zak, Mhali and herself in comps for a few days. This
is when
Herrimone make her fatal decision. She notices a few small trinkets
in her
bag for the healer. Its just a quick jog up the road and its been
pretty
quiet, she decides to make a break for it.
As Herrimone runs along the road, a fellow by the name of Ka something,
calls out to her "Peace" She doesn't think twice about
this, and replies
peace. She is a few steps from the healers door when she Ids the
two
fellows, Ka something and Og. SHIT, OG!!! She does what any lvl
15 would
do when faced with Og...she tries to log. Only Og and Ka something
are much
too fast, they each get in one shot and Herrimone dies in animation.
She comes back, at the lifestone, missing 5K in cash, her helm and
Otholi
sword. She meets 4 others, all white, discussing the two BIG PKs
in town.
They are trying to band together to seek revenge on their attackers.
"Og kill you too?" one asks
"Aye" She replies
"Think you could take him if we healed you?"
"um No, that was OG"
"But there are five of us now"
"It only took him two shots to kill me last time, how many
heals can you
get off in two shots?"
"We could buff"
"I think I will leave Og for another day. Good luck to you"
Herrimone wonders off to the countryside to work off Vitae, so
she may
Portal Recall back to her friends. Vision of one day seeing someone
take
down the horrible OG monster.
