Jackaroo
PK'd
by Jackaroo (8/30/00) |
Well it did not take long. I turned PK last night
and ran back to Mayoi after fighting in the DoC for a bit and noticed
a PK in the mage tower in town. I was buffed but only wearing my robe.
This was mistake number 1.
He comes running out of the tower and neither of us can id each other.
I'm worried though becuase he has a full set of nice looknig armor.
IT was dark outside but it didn't look like shadow armor to me. Jackaroo
is dressed like a vagrant in leather leggings, no shoes and a matty
coat.
He starts to buff.
So now my blood is really pumping. I toss Magic Yield IV on him and
he runs past past me.
I guess this was mistake number 2.
Wow do players move about 100 times faster than any monster even Tuskers.
I turn around and he come right for me. Before I can throw a vuln
he kills me in 3-4 hits: 47, 52, etc. I am sent back to the Ayan LS.
IT was a Ravenous Sword of course.
Owie.
The guy's name was Branish and he bawls me out for attacking him while
he was shopping. Well OK I technically threw the first punch, but
he did run out of the mage tower and stand in front of me and buff.
What was I supposed to do at that point? Let him get in the first
shot?
He's level 40 and has never heard of any of us. Heh.
I think it might have been a slightly different fight if I had my
armor on. At least I would not have gone down quite so fast and could
have landed something. I won't be caught w/o my armor on from now
on even though a robe is still way better for PvM in the DoC or BSD.
He would not give me back my greater mana stones either. That is all
I lost.
I'm initerested in a group PK outing. Rach' mann, Pain, Rimgar, Deao
- you guys interested? |
