Tummies took over the Banderling Tree House
by Jerod Sinj (3/30/00)

Well the other day Jerod decide it was time to go North and take a peak at some of the sites of AC. Seeing I made lvl 25 in under 3 weeks I thought I should smell some Roses.

The journey begins in Mayoi (after making a fortune of the Jojii followers - where do they get all that money any how). Oh yes I go from Mayoi to Nanto, nothing new their. Head over to Hebian-to, boring little town but I visited the library and expanded my knowledge of Dearth lore. Working up the coast I hit the a mosswart fort the was nicely camped by Wizards and Archers standing in places that the monsters could not fight back. being the honorable fighter that I am I scoffed at such a site and moved on.

My next stop was the Green Mire Dungeon. It was nicely laid out and kinda of fun and even though I was weigh to high lvl to be in the dungeon but when I got to the bottom their were lvl 30 dudes camping the chest. WOW - LOOSERS. Well I hung around for a few (hehe I was at 20% from my Jojii deaths earlier - nasty story their) and worked off some vitea and got lucky. The Chieftain came flying at me and my trusty sword made quick work of him and i got the key and got the green morine chest piece. ( now in the G-Mans hands). Cool that was fun time to move on.

Heading up the coast I hit the Skeleton Castle - Whoot 25+ Skeleton Warriors. Skeletons were really dumb (more poor programing) so I dispatch them all. I pull up a chair and had a seat and enjoy my victory. From their I continue onward going north. The beach was loaded - and I mean loaded with Water and Mud Golems, I almost died several times from have 3 to 5 golems lighting me up with spells. (No stinking motes :( )

Well short on supplies I cut over to swanto and load up. From swanto I got my self to Cragstone (somehow) and made my way to Fort Witshire. Another cool looking place waisted on monsters stuck in walls being shoot at by loosers from their perches. I make my way into the dungeon and begin to lay waste to it. Nice design but it is another low lvl dungeon (skeleton warriors and a Captain at the end). Go down 3 lvls and find the captain and kill him. Their is absolutely no loot in the entire dungeon so I am assume that is why the place was empty.

From their on to another town that I have not been to, Glenden Wood. I really liked the run threw the woods to the town.

Now I just wanted to add this - I have not seen a shadow my entire trip yet so I says to myself -- "Self lets check out the power station and kill some shadows". CHARGE

The trip to the power station was nice and I managed to dispatch 2 children and 3 adults. Had to split when the LT got upset.

Well I like the banderling Graphics so I decide to head to the Banderling Treetop Encampment. ERRRRR - bad move. Time Check - 10pm (ET) no one I know is on atm. This leads to when I arrive at the Encampment I am grated with Force Bolt III and Crossbow arrows from hell raining down on me from the treetops. What the hell, damn monsters acting like PC's. Their must have been a good 15 tummies of all types. Not expecting them I was dead before I knew what happened. - Great how am I gonna handle this one. MUTT TO THE RESCUER. How do you kill and Archer - doh with another archer who has a bigger bow. :) - Well we mop up the Tree House and off course their is no loot of any value any place. After battle I am at 160% burned - back to jojii's and another quick 10,000p. Where do these guys get all this cash to pay these out rageous prices.

Ok - being that I am long winded and after this post you will remember my name I will continue on..... :)

My goal is the Northern Passage Watchtower.

Well I portal back and begin. OH I HATE TURBINE. for an hour I tried to get to it from the NW approach and could not get over the mountains. Their was about a dozen passes that ended in dead ends. I got on the ridge line once - wow, nice view, ahhhhhhh - I slipped admiring the view and died. bumber. Corpse recovery time and lets try from the east plus I have not yet visited Holtburg. So I begin attempt 2.

Needless to say failure was in my destiny. Making my way up the river and then cutting threw the trees going north to west I ran into smites every were. Now one would think the a creature so small and low in lvl could not cause that much of a problem. ACK, the little punks practically raped me. I got into a huge fight and was loving it. My sword was slashing and flinging - I was killing Banderling Guards, Captains, Rough Mongles and various other things and the spawn would not stop - then it happened. I was jumped by a million smites. I could not kill them fast enough and the ate away at my stamina and health 1 point at a time - I couldn't run because they had me pinned in - all I could do was fight. Well the banderlings respawned and must have been laughing at me has the smites continued to pound me. Every time I would kill one it felt like 2 would spawn it was endless - well it did end eventually, chalk up another death for the Sinj man.

I have never lost some much gear at once from a death. I WAS NAKED. All my armor - my Item 2 orb, my DB IV HS IV sword and a few mana stones. GRRRR. Well I bought me a tukba and cast all the ITEM III spells on it and hacked my way back to the site to take out my revenge on the little fellas. LOL 2am, I have my corpse back and am finally going to bed.
