I log on with Miko K-sun about 8:00 pm est. Druss
and Mizu-No are in Yanshi when I get there. There are several other
Source member, like Mutt and Caessa II, there also. Druss, Mizu
and I decide to go to arwic. The Lair of Death. We make the run
up from Cragstone and attune. Off for the lair and what lies within.
We enter to be greeted by an olthoi worker. Druss takes the first
blows, staying too long and taking the purple tunnel express to
polish the lifestone. The olthoi then turns on me.........

I bail for the exit at 5 life. Mizu is wrecking
him while he attacks me and is able to drop him before he gets to
him. Heal up as Druss arrives. Back in we go as Mizu has secured
the entrance. There are lots of people in here now. We stay in the
main room and Mizu will go down a passage and bring one up. One
worker is more then enough for me as I can't hit them. We get the
occasional nymph to come along and play. I like them I can hit them.
Somebody comes running by with a solder in tow.
Wow are they tough. Druss and I ride the purple tunnel. When we
get back it's hit and run on the soldier. Go in get hit and run
away. I am more bait then anything. I have HS III on my weapon and
can't hit. Thankfully I have Imp III on my matty coat to keep me
alive long enough to run. Mizu and Druss get some shots in as I
run away. Finally he is dead. There are more then just the three
of us doing this. There are also plenty of bodies lying around.
After a couple of nymphs we get another worker. I target the worker.
Next thing I see is the log in screen. Man am I some pissed. Every
time I go to Arwic this happens to me. Finally I get back on. I'm
polishing the lifestone again. Just were I always wanted to be.
I swear to Druss all the way back about Turbine and slapping Bill
Gates around.
After getting my stuff we talk about calling it
a night. A fight breaks out in the hall at this time. Of course
I think Mizu started it, but anyway it is not good as Mizu gets
the purple express. We recover his stuff and head for the exit as
a fight is going on inside. I'm out first Druss and Mizu are tackling
the Olthoi. Help I scream. I'm at 40 life from the olthoi and there
are 2 rough monouga that meet me when I leave. With my 9% vitae
they are a little rough (hehe) on me. I drop the first one, down
to 20. Druss and Mizu are at my side, the other goes to the land
of the dead. Mizu calls it a night and logs off by the lair. Druss
and I hot foot it to arwic to check the shop. I get turned around,
this happens sometimes when my screen will jump. I'm going east
next thing I know it's south, kind of stuff. I take the easy way
and portal to the lifestone. At the lifestone there is a PK fight
going on. Three PK. One on Two. It started just as I arrived and
I think the one started it. I bet he didn't see the other's friend.
When it was clear a two on one the little lvl 34 ran. By this time
Druss is at my side, thanks to portal storm. He calls it a night
and logs off. I take a chance and go into arwic. Wow look im back
at the lifestone. I am some happy with Bill Gates now. Something
about my foot and his A**. I want to go shopping for something,
so I take off to Cragstone. When I get there I realize what a short
trip it is to Qalaba'r and the lugian dungeon. I have an 8% vitae
that needs to go. I'm on it, vitae must go away.
Get to Q and attune then to the dungeon I go. Into
the dungeon and lay the smack down on the lvl 15 that greets me.
Sorry I say you are too small to play with me die. I don't know
this dungeon well and am looking to lose vitae, so I take it easy
at first. help on some 33's and smack down the 18's and 15's. Vitae
goes quick with these boys. I sink a little farther into the dungeon
and jump a 29. Well he had a 33 friend with him. Wow that is rough,
but I stay on him. During this battle I get a call from Khali "want
to hunt hoary with us". reply "hold big fight". I take out the 29
and turn tail and run. I get around the corner and the little 33
guy drops off radar. Quick heal then a quick message to Khali "hold
tight taking on a 29 and 33 lug". Back on the 33 and pound him down.
Another quick heal, then to the exit. Give the smack down to an
18 on the way. Make it to the safest room in the place.
"Ok safe spot who is going with you"
"gar, rach'man, ping, beryl & rhodry"
"are you close to castle, I was thinking of logging off as my vitae
is gone"
short pause before reply. I take this time to check on Stacey, she
is sleeping.
"Tuskers were after us, sorry"
"what the hell i'm on my way, it's a long run, I will catch up"
Portal to the lifestone then start the run. Jump
in the crag, portal. Run to the castle. I see lots of nice wild
life asking to give me xp on the way, but I tell them all "sorry
I'm attuned in Q and have friends to meet, we will play another
day."
I get the message that Rhodry died just before
I get to the castle. Damn that blows.
"was it the hoary" I ask
"no we have not gotten that far, It may have been the tuskers"
I hit the lifestone and attune. I then head out
for the group. When I catch up to them, they have the situation
under control except for Rhodry's keyboard. Nothing we can do about
that :-(
