Interesting things happen when people with dissimilar attitudes
try to hunt in the same place.
I like to hunt Olthoi in the LoD, in fact, yesterday I rolled the
Noble with NO stamina potions, at LV 40! TL Template baby, who else
has 280 stamina at LV 40? :) Unfortunately, a few characters of
ill repute like to poke their noses into the lair every so often.
One such individual is a LV 38 Blood Dagger User named Norwegian
Viking.
Yesterday I wanked into the LoD to find him tanking three workers.
I could have attacked him, but instead I brittlemail IV'd his shield
and the Olthoi started kicking his ass, and he ran and portal logged.

I went and did some fighting, he came back fully buffed. We went
at it for a while and man, was it a pointless battle, we couldn't
hurt each other AT ALL. I brittlemail'd his shield again and it
didn't matter because he had layered Impen'd clothing underneath.
We sat around shooting the shit until he whipped out his wand to
start RE-CASTING his buffs (yes, we actually sat there for that
long) and I attacked and started kicking his ass with my Atlan for
15 a shot, he ran out and and probably logged again, I didn't follow
him.
I went lower into the LoD after rebuffing, and flattened the Soldier
and his Worker buddies in the hall, then approached the open room
with the three workers in it. As I was tanking them, Norwegian Viking
returned, jumped me from behind with Oswald's Dagger.
I ran back through the corrider and threw on my Lightning Protection,
but the three workers were still on me and I got killed by them
:)
Then I ran back and discovered the three workers standing over not
only my body, but Norwegian Viking's as well :) So I looted my body,
and discovered that Viking had opened his corpse so I looted him
too and got his Amuli Leggings and three wands :) Viking returned
minutes later butt-ass nekkid from the waist down, and got tooled
by the Soldier that had respawned, and ran back upstairs. I ran
up myself and left some pyreals on his corpse so it wouldn't decay,
found him fighting the Soldier in the entrance room. I started attacking
him low where he had no legs, he took like 10 a shot and booted
for it.
I killed the Soldier off, then went up through the portal and found
Viking outside healing himself, he sees me and runs back inside.
I go back inside and he attacks me, he can't do shit but I can't
hit him much, and he now has Piercig Protection IV on because I'm
not doing that much damage even hitting low. He basically says "Screw
this." and runs downstairs past a bunch of bugs with me on
his tail, he makes a wrong turn and I get to his body first, he
runs into the room with two workers on his tail and says "shit"
and portals out, leaving me to deal with the two workers as my buffs
are running out.
I camp his body for another 10 minutes and he comes back again :)
Norwegian Viking tells you, "Stop camping my body"
Little does he know that there's nothing on his corpse.
So I chase him back up to the entrance room and we go at it again,
as usual we can't hurt each other.
Then I throw on his Amuli pants and laugh.
He swears at me and leaves.
hehehehe
Life is good. Score one for the Source over the forces of evil :)
