Hello fellow Darktide Source, I'd like to address some things that are going on right now in our nice little monarchy.

Leveling of the lowbies. Mhali, Zaknafein and Herrimone are all over LV 10 as we speak, Mizu-No is Lv 15. We're definitely making some progress. Arabica I haven't heard much about, and Khali I haven't heard news from either, how are you guys doing? Paksenarrion? The goal, obviously, is to get everyone to an approximately equal level so we can work better as a unit, hunt the same areas, and generally have fun together. The way I see it now, we have three major level groups:

LV 40+

TSS

Lugian D00ds

Druss
C
Drake
Dhali
Chinook

Lowbies

Everyone Else

More comments about leveling- I'm not seeing a lot of little guys helpinhg each other, and I think you guys need to remember that there is safety in numbers, and not only that, but it's more fun in a group too!

Herrimone, Khali, Mhali, Paksenarrion, Mizu-No, Zak'Nafein, HiroFyre, you guys all need to get on each other's friends llists and hook up- it's safer and easier.

As far as twinking time, Dhali is obviously the best twinker, but we have to remember that Dave is a) the ONLY one who can twink the mages and b) doesn't play nearly as much as me. So we have to give him a break and give him some time to himself as well, he need to level too, hell, he is only LV 28. Drake is going to pass him for Chrissakes :) So from now on, mages, you guys have Dhali all to yourselves, unless Dave feels like making an exception.

I myself have not levelled in a coon's age and I think I'm starting to see another problem with twinking, you make no money doing it. I am one broke SOB, so I'll be Olthoi hunting for two days or so. Also, Druss and C have spent a LOT of time out by the Warrens helping out the little guys and they need a break, Druss really needs to hit LV 35.

What is all of this amounting to? Simple. I got to LV 43 without anyone twinking me and I know all of you little Source can go at least a cuple of levels without any outside help. Let me clarify, I am NOT upset with the way things are going. I'm just concerned that we're sacrificing the growth of the core players by spreading them too thinly, especially Dave. every time he logs on I bug him for twinking and portal rides :)

This week, I want all the little d00ds to gain a couple of levels a cappela :) You can do it. Need body recovery? Equipment, money? Give up a call? Pk's buggin' ya? Give us a call. But I need a break from tanking things to raise some cash and I think my higher level compadres do as well. This is your time to shine, little guys :)

I am kicking ass. I have killed 7 PK's in a row and not died once, PH@T L3WT!!! Slaughtered Herodias, JFK thy Penius, Noble Dark Reign, Jubei lowbies, Xai lowbies, punks, idiots, haven't died once in like 4 days :) Sweet...none of them has given as good loot as Og though, he's a melee :) Well maybe Jfk, thanks for the Mana Stones heheheh

I have been questing, killing, hunting, helping and enjoying the game. And I'm glad you guys are enjoying it as well.

Murk Warrens, the place ain't that great for all of the trouble it causes with the remote location. I'm breaking my tie there, so everyone bail out because there will be no ride back. Mossie Village is just as good, and less dangerous, and less remote.

What else...

Oh yeah. Chinook, your quest bow is done, all but we have to get to Ayan Baqur to shape the horns. Or rather, I have to get there. After that, all you have to do is string it and add a handle. I'm going to try to make that trip tomorrow. I have an Excellent Oiled String and a Finely Oiled string, I'll leave it up to you as to which one to use. You'll probably flunk the excellent though, so it's your choice if you even want to try or save it for someone elses bow or even another one for you later on. Finely oiled is 90% mod, Excellent is the 110%, just so you know. Then we can get the Thighbone and Sagacios still owes me a carving, it will but BD IV and Bow Mastery IV on your bow, but it will take 240 Bow Skill to activate. What is your bow skill when you are fully buffed?

Did I mention I love the slogan, "radically anti". Pure genius.

Are there any glaring equipment needs that anyone has? Anyone need a dillo coat? LV III Wand? Jewelry (I know Drake does)...?

Are there any quests that people are interested in that you guys want me to start collecting for? Who wants an Atlan Axe? I'm sure we can buff Druss enough to get his, or Drake. We have 16 motes as we speak. We just need to get a quality ingot made, which I can ask Sagacious about. I can head to the Crater and tie there to make the trip easy for the person in question. Remember, with Item, the Atlan Axe is a beating. Then we just have to get the Fire Stone (ugh!)

Ok, who wants to go beat up some Umbris? Raise your hands :)

Fight Night II. I'm eagerly anticipating this and I'm going to update the quest thread now that we have an actual event :) Should be up tomorrow morning.

Ravenous weapons DON'T cut through buffs, hollow ones do.

To get a hollow weapon, you go to the Lugian Mine outside of Q'alabar, 73.9S, 39.0E. Inside you will find Laigus and Amploth Lugians with HOLLOW weapons and rocks made of chorozite that IGNORE buffs. Also, all Lugians in the dungeon are 100% resistant to magic, and the place has the BSD spawn rate. Yes, 100% resistant. As in LV 90 mages cannot hit the Laigus once in 500 tries. You get a Lugian Pickaxe, mine the ore. Then you go to the VERY UPPER LEFTHAND CORNER interest point on the map (the yellow dot) and give you your ore to some guy, he gives you refined ore, you go to crater, stamp ore with glyph, give to golem, get weapon.

To get a Ravenous weapon, go to 77.0S, 64.3 E, Lugian Excavation Site. This place is the same as the mine, except there are Gigas and EXTAS Lugians. Yes, there are EXTAS Lugians here with Hollow weapons. COUGHdeadmagesCOUGH. There were bodies littering the place when I went, LV 60 characters with 40% vitae because they were getting their asses kicked so bad in there. Man it is harder then hell, with a party of 10 LV 40+ we were still getting wasted. I didn't die though, TL TEMPLATE BABY!!! (high five). You get high quality ore, give to guy at UPPER LEFTHAND dot, go to crater, stamp with Glyph, get weapon. The spear is by far trhe worst of the Ravenous weapons, they doubled the base speed of a spear and kept the shitty 2-8 damage. By Budiaq does better than that. Ugh.

I was going to write something about recent events on the HG list, but I will postpone that since it's probably unnecessary.
