I have plowed through all of my mail today after waking up quite
late, and I must say I find it both inspirational and troubling.

I have read great stories from several sources about fun, about
teamwork, about having a great time on the server we love with the people we
enjoy. Great stuff.

The whole thing about how everyone came together to get Druss' body
in the Uberchest room at the Kara Citadel brought a smile to my face, not
just because it is such a shining example of the great group that we have,
but because I got kicked off of my computer and couldn't go and help get the
body myself. Druss' valiant sacrifice was made protecting me while I was
making my chest pulls.

Congrats to Mizu on LV 21.

Zak, I'm proud of you for not getting too discouraged despite
getting killed 5 times. It sets a good example. I'm sure that all of us
will be /telling you to get your the equipment you need :)

Now...

The message from Pete Czech. It's great to have people showing
interest in the DT Source, but I'd like to remind everyone that the DT
Source is not going to be getting much bigger. Our goal is to get everyone
to a workable level as fast as possible, and I want that goal to be
attainable. If we have new LV1-5's joining every other day, then not only
will the monarchy get unwieldy and disorganized, but the twinking and cries
for help that we thought were just a temporary situation will turn into a
permenant feature.

I want the twinking and levelling help to have an end to it. I want
to know that when the last new Source hits LV 30, I will not have another 5
LV 1 guys on the way in. I want us to be ELITE in two months, everyone LV's
30+.

The DT Source will not be getting much larger than 20 members.

Pete Czech, I'm greatful for your interest, but there is a LV 15 cap
for new Source members. You'll have to reach LV 15 before joining, and not
only that, but I'd like you to come on a few adventures with us, maybe hang
out with some of the Lugian Citadel people for a while, so that we can see
if you're the type of person we want in the Source.

The reason I'm so concerned and cautious is that Jamie Wakefield was
bombarded by tells from rabid fans on HG to the point where he had to put
/notells on. You sound like a fairly big Wakefield fan, and I'm sure your
intentions are very good, but you have to realize that being a Wakefield fan
is not automatic inclusion here. In fact, there are many Wakefield fans who
are insufferable pedants that /tell Jamie at all hours of the day to annoy
him with trivialities. :) I want to make sure you're not one of those guys.

Next issue...

This "Blunts in Sawato" thread is draining the life out of me. I
think we're all mature enough here to give honest opinions and so I will:
I'd like to keep this list to things a little more relevent to DT. I only
say this to ensure that the unbelievable quality of posts that we have seen
so far continues. I'll admit I was a little nonplussed to see about 20
"Blunts in Sawato" replies.

If anyone has any thoughts on these issues I'd love to hear them.

TSS
