Hey everyone! Thought I'd offer up a report on recent goings-on,
and give a few of my thoughts on numerous situations.
TSS has, recently, been hunting mostly at Aerlinthe. The monsters
there give amazing loot and good XP, and I can usually make about
100k in one trip, plus find about 5 death items and two or three "keepers"
(items that people can actually use). The place is filled with exciting
creatures, and every so often you'll see a LV 60 guy run by on hiw
way somewhere :) The problem with Aerlinthe is that every trip out
there costs 50k, because you have to pay Gareana the Emissary to gate
you to the isle.
I fought a Vapor Golem and it killed me in about 5 seconds.
Some of you have suggested a no-loot policy for Acid Sin. Uh...you
guys go ahead. I'll be looting him every chance I have. If he lags
out and runs against a wall I will kill him and loot him. I don't
care. He will then come back and say, "That was lame, all your
vassals are cool but killing me lagged out was total BS." I will
respond to that by not caring. You kill people, I kill you. You can
be the nicest guy in the world, it does not matter. I am friends with
Samuel and I would loot his ass if I killed him. Rev is VERY nice
and he looted my SEVEN death items when he killed me.
I'm tied to the Lair Of Death right now, but to be honest it kinda
sucks...usually there are a bunch of dingleberries inside running
around. So I think I'll tie to Kara so I can aid in the defense there.
I just need someone to portal me out there, or I can just run since
it really isn't that far. And to be honest the XP isn't THAT bad,
it's at least consistant. And I'll participate in any raider defense
that might get organanized, otherwise I'll be killing Lithos by the
bushel.
I have an Olthoi head, I assume Mizu wants it.
If we can get Mhali (or Dhali, of course) and Chinook online at the
same time, and get Zak'Nafein to hand over one of those Finely Oiled
strings, Chinook can take another shot at stringing his Composite
90% Bow.
I got the Acid Stone last night, that dungeon is INSANE. Oh my god
are there a lot of Olthoi in it. Probably almost as many as the Horde
Nest but it's all Soldiers. If you want to die a lot, you should try
Incunabula Vault. If we went in there with me, Druss, C, Drake, we'd
get killed in like half a second. I think we can make a group run
at the Acid Stone once we have about 6 LV 40+ guys. I still can't
believe the sheer numbers of Olthoi in there. And the respawn is TWO
MINUTES.
Congrats to Mizu on getting Oswald's Dagger! It is always nice to
have a good options for weaponry...Mizu now wants the Atlan Dagger,
and I have your Quality Ingot is you can grab a Mage and hit the Crater
with me sometime. (I'm carrying the ingots but don't worry, I won't
drop them on death.)
At LV 50 I can now lose SEVEN items on death :( Grumble.
I went to the Lugian Excavation and killed a Blood there...but there
were plenty of antis there too, which tells me it is one of those
candy-ass "peace zones" where people let Bloods and RD level
or something like that. Of course, I did only see one Blood, so maybe
I'm wrong, but he told me it was a peace zone (after I killed him
hehe). I'm 50 and I die in there every time I go there, the rocks
do me in. So it's not much of a hunting ground.
The source is starting to come into it's own. Almost no regular members
are under LV 20 now. Soon no one will be under 30. Then 40, etc...and
we'll be unstoppable.
