A while back, The Pilgrim Barbasol (Og's Lawyer) posted a duo of articles to
CoD. they were titled "What Og has to listen to, part I" and "What Og has
to listen to, Part II"

If the compilation of quotes is to be believed, Og has been on the
receiving end of some of the most vile language imaginable, he has been
treated unfairly, criticized for having a weak character, called every name
in the book.

Og has never talked shit.
His character doesn't have any magic. Not even Item Magic.

He did not start with 100 STR and Coord, even though he is UA. He started
with 100 Quickness.

His character is the ultimate gimp, with more flaws than HG Druss ever could
dream of having. And still he plays and never makes excuses. He enjoys the
game thoroughly, hasn't sold his account, hasn't rerolled. He has more
cajones than I do, I'll tell you that.

Think back to pre-hollow days. Say you run up to a LV 40 mage and hit HIM
for 0 four times, and he vulns you and blows you away.

Do you think it is reasonable for him to say, or even think, "Really, really
sad. So this is Druss? You have to be kidding me. How sad.", and tell
that to his friends?

No, I think that would be ignorant.

I think we can all learn something from Og, and I think he's inspirational,
not sad. He ran up and hit you for 0 four times through a shield and
Greater Lightning Leggings and Lightning Prot VI, and you drilled an
unbuffed gimp (he doesn't have ITEM...he can't cast Impen) for double digits
four times.

Og will be the same Og tomorrow despite that drubbing. Tonight he was happy
just to face his betters, and have fun.

Rather than denegrating anyone elses abilities, I think we can place the
CREDIT right on your shoulders. Through hard work, diligence, preperation
and practice, you were able to soundly defeat Og, the most infamous PK of
all time.
