The Source conducted a LONG series of raids on Hebian-to this afternoon.
The first raid consisted of me, Zak'Nafein, Acid Sin and Mhali. We
killed Lornshin, Corim X L and Post Mortem X L, but Wynd-Rider showed
up and delt Zak'Nafein and I some Vitae before portalling away from
Acid Sin. (We also killed many n00bs) We viciously camped the Hebian
beach portal destination and jacked everyone who came through until
Wynd sent me packing with a Lightning VI and Harm VI.
The second raid consisted of all the original guys plus we picked
up Mizu-No and my friend Eomer, a LV 57 Life/Item/Melee who had mad
Imperil VI skillz. Unfortunately, our intrepid party portalled into
a scene from hell...
Sabrewolf X, Juno Khei X L, Red Dragon X L, Lornshin, Victoire, and
several other fully buffs badasses dropped a dime on us when we came
through the portal. While Mizu-No and Eomer were downloading because
of patch day, Victoire dropped Fire Vuln and Imperil VI on me like
it wasn't shit, while Sabrewolf X went after Mhali who was half his
level. Acid Sin was fighting both Juno Khei and Victoire. Lornshin
went after me and since I have about 15 levels on him I killed him
in four hits while he missed me every time. Then Sabrewolf started
chasing me down the beach and I gave the order to retreat. Mizu-No
was running beside me in the confusion but I lost track of him, and
told Acid to portal out. Zak'Nafein was already gone and Mhali had
died to Sabrewolf. Eomer materialized and got Piercing Vuln VI'd and
blown away by Victoire's Impious Staff. I tried to portal but since
I don't know Godmode, Sabrewolf caught up to me and killed me in about
3 seconds. A harsh defeat for the Source and their allies.
So me and Acid Sin decided to go back, everyone else declined. (The
reason I was able to raid every 10 minutes despite dying each time
was that Zak'Nafein was portalling me to OHN to burn my Vitae (which
I can do in one buff session).

So that was that.
We went back for a fourth raid in which Achtepa killed me with one
spell by hitting me with FOUR rings of his Nuhemedra's Spines, but
he didn't get to loot because we had like 8 guys on him. We killed
a bunch more n00bs, and then Wynd-Rider showed up, but got gangbanged
viciously by Destructor, Guerrand, Guzam Black Rose, Acid Sin, and
Final Template...(this was while I was white).
We went over to town and some guy named Mr Z showed up and asked
"Damn Wynd who killed you?" when we were sitting there
on his radar...I ran over and tuned him up for 122 damage without
a vuln, Acid then Imperil'd and I finished him off.
So basically, I had three deaths but only got looted once, and I
EASILY replaced my death items from all the jabronies we killed.
This was a concentrated, nonstop two hours of raiding, and I think
we made an impression on them. COngrats to all who were involved.
