Had quite a fight with Achtepa tonight.

He had his GSA buffed into hell and back so I went hollow, doing from 4-20 damage a shot (mostly 7's and 8's), but I couldn't engage for long because at the beginning of the fight he was tossing off Piercing Ring Spells all over the place.

It was me, Sister C, and Druss against Achtepa and he killed Druss and myself while C managed to get away. He would throw ring and war spells aplenty, and when he was running low on mana, he would cast Revitilize Self VI and Stamina to Mana VI, which seemed to solve his problem handily.

Druss fell to a ring spell followed by a series of God-moded Streak VI's and what I presume was a Harm VI. I kept up the attack, avoiding at least 4 Force Bolt VI's and 4 Nuhimedra's Spines before he finally got me for about 140 damage with a War spell and I had to run. I know that his spells were mana intensive but he seemed to have limitless mana. Sister C, who's hollow dagger certainly left something to be desired, had few offensive options.

Achtepa followed his Force Bolt VI with a Harm V and then he god-moded after me, casting Harms along the way, and was actually GAINING on me while doing so. He dropped me with a Harm IV and I gave the order for C to portal out.

There was little I could do here, and Achtepa even felt sorry for us as he started giving us advice while we were fighting (Achtepa says, "debuff").

With Piercing Vuln VI on I could never engage him. With his 240 base Life Magic (at least) he could drain me ad infinitum. Without Life Inept of some sort, we couldn't stop his infinite mana loop (by forcing him to use V's instead of VI's)...with Sister C's life skill a good 30 points below his magic defense, we couldn't put a dent in his mana and stamina resources with drains.

In short, we had few options.

Anyone have any suggestions on what to do in this situation?

Or do we just have to come to terms with the fact that this guy has a bad-ass character, PvP skills and can god-mode without screwing it up EVER, meaning he's just too tough for a bunch of gimps like us?
